Guidance whenever and wherever it suits you
What does our guidance look like? That depends on your preferences.Individual or in a group, during day-time or in the evening, in Amsterdam North or at the Zeeburgereiland. At Terra, you find the guidance that match you, your ideas and your pregnancy. After all: because every pregnancy is unique, our guidance should be unique as well.
The most well-known obstetric care is individual care. Every few weeks, you will visit your midwife, who will do medical checks, provide you with information and answer your questions.
Centering pregnancy
In addition to this individual guidance, we also provide group guidance. This is called ‘centering pregnancy’. You will undergo the exact same medical checks, but the consultations are in a group.
The advantages thereof are that consultations are more elaborate and longer, you get to know other women who are equally far along in their pregnancy and you learn from each other’s experiences and questions. Hearing the heartbeat of your baby is something magical. We understand you would like to hear it more often than just during the twelve and twenty week ultrasound! Have you passed your 13th week of pregnancy? Then feel free to visit our heartbeat consultation hour.
This consultation takes place every Monday from 10.00 AM to 10.30 AM at the Banne Buikslootlaan 63A. The visits are free of charge and making an appointment is not necessary. Feel welcome!
